Functional monitoring is an integral part of the treatment process at Laser Dental Clinic and enables objective comparison of functional status before, during, and after different stages of treatment.
Depending on the individual clinical case, monitoring may include occlusal balance, activity and symmetry of the masticatory muscles, mandibular movements, temporomandibular joint status, postural characteristics, and other functional parameters.
When indicated, repeated clinical and instrumental assessments may be performed, including TEETHAN EMG, occlusal and neuromuscular analysis, postural assessment, clinical photography, and other appropriate methods. The obtained results are compared with the baseline data and previous follow-up assessments.
Functional monitoring supports the evaluation of adaptation to treatment and allows timely modification and optimization of the therapeutic plan when clinically necessary.
This approach is particularly important in comprehensive functional, orthodontic, prosthetic, and restorative treatment, as well as in long-term maintenance programs.
Monitoring is individualized according to clinical indications and is not based on a single parameter, but on a comprehensive assessment of the patient and changes in functional status over time.
