Occlusal analysis

Occlusal analysis is part of the functional diagnostic approach at Laser Dental Clinic and enables an objective assessment of the contacts between the upper and lower teeth during biting and function.

Computerized analysis provides information about the sequence, distribution, and relative loading of occlusal contacts. The data are interpreted together with the clinical examination and, when indicated, with other functional assessments, including analysis of masticatory muscle activity and posture.

Occlusal analysis supports diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up in functional, orthodontic, restorative, prosthetic, and implant treatment. The goal is not merely to establish tooth contacts, but to achieve functionally balanced and long-term stable occlusion.
