Postural analysis

Postural analysis is part of the functional assessment at Laser Dental Clinic and evaluates posture and the relationships between body, head and neck position, and the function of the masticatory system.

When clinically indicated, postural symmetry, head and shoulder position, body balance, and other functional characteristics are assessed. The findings may be correlated with occlusal analysis, masticatory muscle activity, and other clinical and functional assessments.

Postural analysis supports comprehensive assessment in patients with functional and occlusal disorders, orthodontic and prosthetic treatment, and other cases in which the relationship between the masticatory system and overall functional balance needs to be evaluated.

The findings are not used as a stand-alone diagnostic method but are interpreted as part of individualized functional assessment and treatment planning.
