TEETHAN EMG

TEETHAN EMG is a digital system for the functional assessment of masticatory muscle activity and symmetry, as well as occlusal balance.

At Laser Dental Clinic, the examination is used as part of functional diagnostics. Surface electromyography records the activity of the main masticatory muscles and enables assessment of their functional interaction during occlusion.

The acquired data support the analysis of muscular and occlusal balance, treatment planning, and follow-up in functional, orthodontic, restorative, and prosthetic treatment. When indicated, the results are interpreted together with the clinical examination, occlusal analysis, and other functional assessments.

TEETHAN EMG is not used as a stand-alone diagnostic method, but as part of a comprehensive functional assessment and individualized treatment planning.
